Our Story
In 2021, we purchased our first home in East Dallas. The kitchen of our new home featured the trendiest finishes that 2014 had to offer, so we decided to remodel.
We assumed that we knew what to expect because we both had jobs at prominent architecture and construction firms. But five months into a three month schedule, we were still warming up Trader Joe’s meals in a guest bedroom microwave.
Even worse, we had been convinced to choose 'vanilla' finishes because they would be the least offensive to future buyers — sacrificing the character of our home.
In the years since, we have worked together on many homes across Dallas. Those experiences have taught us that homes are more than just financial investments or places to sleep; they are spaces where we live our lives. At their best, they reflect the unique beauty of the families inside them.
We created Pieper Building Company to help our neighbors build homes they can enjoy for a lifetime. We hope to leave a quiet, lasting legacy across the community we call home.
